We are looking for a PHP Developer to provide support for and drive forward new development for our CRM and Customer Data products and services.

The role will include continuing to develop our CRM platforms, which are built on SuiteCRM, and also Laravel, with a mix of HTML and JavaScript frontends. The successful candidate will take ownership of these platforms, developing updates and guiding further developments.

As the ideal candidate, you will be a passionate, detail orientated developer who writes well structured and supportable code. You will be a natural problem solver who is driven to learn new technologies. You will understand the need to fully QC your own code and are able to code check others work. You will be expected to hit the ground running. Experience and confidence is key.

Main Duties:

  • Take a lead on developing our CRM and customer data platforms
  • Engage with Product Specialist and Business Development teams to add new features and functions and evaluate the success of changes to the platforms
  • Contribute to and improve internal tooling and processes

Required Skills:

  • Good skills in PHP and Laravel (preferably with SuiteCRM experience)
  • Good skills in JavaScript (JQuery)
  • Proficient in MySQL
  • Comfortable with Github and code management best practices
  • Experience working with AWS (including EC2, RDS, EFS, etc)
  • Experience building and consuming API’s in PHP, Laravel or Lumen
  • Comfortable working with JSON and integrating with 3rd party API’s
  • Keen to learn and progress

This is an exciting position with an opportunity to grow and lead a team of developers.

The team currently works a hybrid working model based primarily from home but working together in the office once a week (when possible) but with flexible arrangements.

A Software Training Manager is a specialist who helps customers by developing, facilitating and supervising training programs for customers’ staff. The Training Manager assesses the needs to the business, implements trainings and development plans, and facilitates a wide variety of training programs that enhance the effectiveness of our customers. 

Main Duties:

  • Identify and assess the training needs of the customer
  • Develop individualised and group training programs that address specific business needs
  • Deliver online training to groups of 1-100 people

Required Skills:

  • Fantastic organisational and time management skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Software geek
  • Superb track record in developing and executing successful training programs
  • Happy to work online with webcam/audio as well as onsite where required

Desirable Skills:

 

  • Accounting and/or CRM industry knowledge
  • Consultancy skills to help customers identify how to take advantage of new areas of the software
  • Based in Cornwall, UK
You will be supported by the Documentation and eLearning team who will help prepare content for courses.

Our Data Specialist will support the Data Transformation team with a variety of CRM integration projects, and will require the following skills and attributes:

  • Skills in MySQL or SQL
  • Skills in database development
  • A desire to develop a career in data transformation
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Methodical approach with keen attention to detail
  • Ability to work as part of a team and/or independently with minimal supervision

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience and skills in the Talend open source data integration platform
  • Experience of data transformation (data management, wrangling, warehousing and integration)
  • Interest in machine learning and different kinds of databases
